Du$ky Wood has performed for 20 years around Melbourne, in regional victoria, interstate and overseas under the guises. He now has a solo act together (reuniting the original lineup?) playing a host of his own tunes and those from prior acts, pub rock standards and Australiana, blues, and country rock.

 

Enjoy the sounds and songs of the likes of the beatles, neil young, crowded house as well as jimi Hendrix, cold chisel, Warner Brothers and whatever else happens.

 

In the past 20 years across multiple tours of a number of continents, in Melbourne, regional victoria, interstate, other Australian capitals and New Zealand (where his “Dollar an Inch Records” label is based) under various guises and in a number of acts, the artist presently known as Du$ky Wood has performed from hillbilly juke joints, pubs, major stages and festivals including SBSW (Austin Texas), East Coast Blues and Roots Festival, Woodford, Malaney, Tamworth, The Gathering and The Big Day Out in Auckland. He has shared stages, bills and studios with a variety of artists such as Tom Waits, Emmy Lou Harris, Ben Harper, Checkerboard Lounge, Jimi Hocking, Matt Walker, Paul Kelly, the Cruel Sea, the Chills, the Clean, the White Stripes, the Black Keys, Skin from Skunk Anansie, King Kapisi and Ice Cube.
